Diagnostic Services
We offer a wide variety of diagnostic testing at our facility and partner with the best specialists in the area to ensure you have the best quality care for your pet.

Surgery
We offer surgery services by appointment. Each patient will receive a pre-surgical exam. Pre-surgical blood work is required to evaluate possible underlying anesthetic risks. Intravenous catheter placement and warmed intravenous fluids are utilized during anesthesia to maximize safety. During surgery your pet's safety and comfort is our first priority. While under anesthesia your pet will be continuously monitored, by pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitor, respiratory monitor and visual observation.  Finally your pet will recover from their procedure in a quiet, warm environment with blankets, and fully monitored until completely awake.

Dental Care
Dental disease causes pain and difficulty eating, and can lead to damage of many organs including the heart, kidney and liver. For most pets we recommend regular dental cleanings every 12-18 months, this frequency may be increased for pets 5 years of age and older with dental disease. Taking a preventive approach can often save your pet from unnecessary pain and disease as well as the cost of extensive care caused by dental neglect. We offer Dental services by appointment. Dental services for cats and dogs require anesthesia.  Digital Dental X-rays are always recommended and are required for any extractions.  Dr. Sheffield remains in direct attendance for all anesthetic procedures.
