Part-time position for Veterinary Assistant.
 

Applicant preferred to have knowledge/skills in performing the following: Assisting doctor, basic laboratory procedures, digital radiology, client reception and care, communication skills, medication preparation, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, treatment of hospitalized patients and monitoring surgical patients in the operating room, compliance with established procedures and general cleaning. Computer skills required. Experience with veterinary practice software a plus.

Prefer at least 1 year experience as a veterinary assistant but will consider qualified, eager candidate for training. Gentle patient handling skills are a must (or a strong desire to learn these techniques).
